Sr. Manager, Client Solutions

The Client Solutions Senior Manager holds the responsibility for serving as the primary post-sales account manager for assigned clients. Key responsibilities include account development and expansion, program management, and solution performance management.



• Providing a primary point of contact for Nuance's on demand application clients for their post-sale needs.
• Working with clients to define solution requirements.
• Working across functional boundaries within client, internal, and external organizations to successfully implement the client-specific solution.
• Managing Nuance resources to ensure the client solution exceeds client expectations.
• Managing client accounts to ensure achievement of Nuance revenue targets.
• Analyzing the results of client implementations, and leading continuous improvement processes to achieve and exceed client expectations of success.
• Identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities within existing client relationships.
• Leading the commercial structuring of operating relationships.






• BA/BS or equivalent experience - MBA strongly preferred.
• Service oriented personality with a desire to "own" the customer's issues until they are resolved
• 7+ years experience managing complex, outsourced implementations of enterprise applications
• 7+ years experience managing enterprise customer relationships at the account level
• Ability to understand the rational, political and emotional elements of a client relationship
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, operations and project management teams
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly, and to translate clients' business requirements into functional requirements for engineering teams
• Ability to manage tasks and deliverables for simultaneous projects in an interrupt-driven environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong financial and data analysis skills
• Strong change management skills
• Ability to produce high quality work product, including analyses, presentations, and other documentation
• Solid negotiating skills
• Speech industry experience is a plus.
• Project management certification is helpful, but not required


Desired:

• Experience managing long-term technical outsourcing relationships valued at greater than $5M in annual revenue.
• Experience managing the operating requirements of carrier-grade information systems
• Experience with the Customer Care division of a Fortune 500 company
• Experience in the wireless industry
