Sr. Manager / Director - Corporate Development

JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



 

The position will work on all activities related to mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, and other ad hoc business and financial analyses routinely completed for senior management and the Board of Directors.  Mergers & acquisitions responsibilities will include coordinating and completing acquisition evaluation analyses, due diligence activities, transaction closing requirements, Board and other internal approval processes, and internal and external communications plans.  Strategic planning efforts will focus on updating the Company’s global strategic plan, which will include analyzing the competitive landscape and dynamics, customer and market environment, and long-term growth prospects for specific industries, products and regions.  Other ad hoc business and financial analyses will include assessing significant industry and market events, evaluating current and projected capital structure, and working on other important corporate initiatives.

 

The position will report to Intergraph’s Vice President of Corporate Development.  Candidate must be detailed-oriented with a solid business and finance background and have the ability to effectively work closely with the Company’s senior divisional management team as well as Intergraph's CEO, COO and CFO.  Candidate should have several years of previous experience in investment banking, management consulting, and/or corporate development/strategic planning.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:



 

§  Bachelors Degree from a four-year accredited college.  Should have several years of previous experience in investment banking, consulting or corporate development/strategic planning.

§  Detailed-oriented with a solid business and finance background, both from an educational and work perspective.

§  Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships across divisions and functions.  Effective communication skills are required.

§  Ability to work in a constantly changing environment with a proven ability to manage multiple and concurrent activities effectively and efficiently.

§  Energetic, goal-oriented, team player with an excellent work ethic.

§  Strong knowledge of basic computer programs to include Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
