Sr. Marketing Director

High Tech and Industrial Markets

to join our Strategic Marketing team.  This position will provide deep, High Tech and/or industrial vertical expertise around best industry practices in the supply chain working with the Industries/Marketing team.  The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to: Engage with and support field in pursuit of revenue objectives by providing subject matter expertise during all phases of the sales cycle Work with sales and presales as a consultative leader and mentor Work with top product managers in development to enhance High Tech/Industrial vertical solution Function as subject knowledge expert to development Enhance key account relationships, becoming executive sponsor for targeted accounts Enhance existing or create new vertical specific internal deliverables by enhancing product sheets, presentations and other internal documents to reflect industry issue and solutions Work with the marketing team on articles, conference presentations, etc. for branding of QAD as a leader in the High Tech and Industrial space Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: BA/BS in Liberal Arts, Marketing, Business or equivalent related experience Minimum 10 years relevant experience both in industry and in the ERP/SCM software or consulting is required Proven experience in developing and leading a sales/marekting team; global experience preferred Experience in developing and executing market road maps Proficiency in MS Office Suite,  PowerPoint Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to travel both domestic and international Ability to work in a team environment with several teams concurrently Strong presentation skills Strong analytic and problem solving skills
