Position Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY/PURPOSERealGames is seeking a smart, energetic, dynamic and highly-skilled Senior Marketing Manager to help maximize our syndication business. This role will have a direct and significant impact on syndication’s aggressive reach and revenue goals. Responsibilities will include defining and implementing the syndication marketing strategy; executing effective marketing programs which enable the team to hit reach and revenue goals; providing leadership to a team of Marketing Managers; and assisting the Business Development team with developing sales and marketing collateral. This individual must be driven, analytical, creative, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and activities and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Functions: % of Time1. Develop marketing and promotional strategy for syndication business and partners 20%2. Work closely with account managers to drive merchandising / product placements throughout syndication network 20%3. Deliver or exceed budgeted volume and profit goals by incorporating competitive intelligence, customer knowledge, product knowledge and business analysis 20%4. Provide leadership and manage a team of three Marketing Managers 25%5. Develop sales marketing collateral for Business Development team – one sheets, media kit, case studies, etc. 15% QUANTITATIVE MEASURES:The Sr. Marketing Manager will be assigned quarterly quantitative goals such as implementing a certain number of marketing programs that drive revenue and reach goals. In addition, qualitative and strategic goals such as implementing a marketing strategy that attracts and retains syndication partners will also be assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Minimum:• Technical proficiency in ecommerce, website infrastructure, digital content distribution, and DRM• Familiarity with product management workflow and roadmap planning• Must be skilled in multi-tasking across departments • Ability to successfully manage accounts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Understanding of Web site usability and Web Analytics• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with managing a team of direct reportsPreferred:• Prior experience in ecommerce merchandising or as “brick and mortar” retail buyer• Excellent analysis skills, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, extremely organized, good follow through• Experience working with a sales team and enabling them for success• Proven business skills focused on strategic planning, analysis & reporting, establishing effective program metrics and cross-organizational communications.
