JOB DESCRIPTION
Principal Objective
New Web and Client/Server development and existing applications maintenance

Major Responsibilities:
* Participate in all phases of System Development Life Cycle
* Understand business requirements and functional specifications and translate to technical solutions
* Participate in design process and deliver design specifications
* Develop solutions according to design specifications
* Application coding
* Program for browser using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTTP. Must have a good understanding for DOMs(HTML and XML)
* Program using C#, ASP. NET, VB script/JavaScript
* Program using C# to develop middle tier components
* Provide production support and maintain existing systems by researching and trouble-shooting any issues/problems
* Program using T-SQL in MS SQL Server.
* Should understand IIS and have the capability to do basic web server support.
* Strong desire to learn new technologies

Essential:
You should have 5+ years of related experience in the following areas:
* Developing systems and providing liaison function with business units and technology group.
* Requirements gathering techniques  
* Experience in producing project plans

Technical Skills Required:
* Experience with leveraging Microsoft tools including IIS, ASP, Visual Basic (VB, VBA, VB Script), MTS and COM, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTTP
* Experience in MS Server T-SQL. Must know how to create stored procedures, triggers and performance tuning.
* Past experience and a current commitment to using engineering best practices in the development process.
* Good communication skills
* Must be able to work well in a team environment
* Developer/Analyst developing multi-tier web and/or windows applications in financial industry
* Must have clear understanding of client-server applications
*Must have strong background in object oriented analysis and design
* Must have analyzed, designed, developed and unit tested multi-tier client server applications
* Exposed to full SDLC process
* Must have application deployment & maintenance experience

Bonus skills:
* Experience in a consulting environment (i.e., working on projects for external clients) a plus.
