POSITION SUMMARY

Empagio seeks to recruit Senior .Net/SQL Developer to join its growing and dynamic Time & Attendance division, Unitime Systems.  Reporting to the Product Manager, the Sr .Net/SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying new and enhanced business applications, as well as supporting new and existing applications. The professional is expected to succeed in complex technical environments, have prior software development experience, and be knowledgeable about the Human Resources software industry.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES Strong experience developing multi-tiered web apps using VS 2005 Strong experience with C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and SQL Strong experience with SQLServer 2000/2005 Strong analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrable working knowledge of UML artifacts Confidence to make decisions Team player, take direction from Subject Matter Experts Knowledge of data modeling and DW/BI solution design with in a SQL Server 2000/2005 environment a plus Knowledge of .Net Framework 3.5 features WCF & WPF

 

EXPERIENCE 5+ years of directly-related experience Bachelor’s degree, preferably in C.S. or related field, or equivalent experience Microsoft Developer Certifications Smart Client deployments Mobile application Demonstrated ability to manage projects under tight timelines and exacting budgets Recognized relevant or industry certifications a plus (Microsoft Developer Certifications, Smart Client deployments, Mobile application)
