Our client, a leading systems integration company located in Bermuda is seeking an experienced, Sr. Nortel Telephony Engineer to provide design, integration and support services to its client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering, design, implementation, and maintenance of voice, data & wireless communications networks.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 Engineer, design, install and maintain Nortel telephony communications networks for new and existing customers. Products include: Norstar, BCM, Meridian 1 Succession, OTM and CallPilot.Maintain, support and manage SLA’s for new and existing customer networksAssist in the development and implementation of support strategies and programsProvide technical guidance to engineers as requiredProduce reports and provide training as required

 

Candidates Should Possess:Associates Degree or Relevant Technical Certifications are required (i.e. NNCSS, NNCSE, and TCP/IP Internetworking certifications)Minimum of  5-10 years experience as an engineer in the field of telecommunications Data, Voice & Wireless systemsA demonstrated commitment to qualityInitiative and leadership skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, this includes evenings, and weekends as requiredAbility to interact with customers, staff and vendorsGood interpersonal and communication skills both written and oralWorking experience engineering, installing and maintaining the following Nortel Networks products would be desirable:Symposium, Baystack, WLAN VoIP and VoIP networks solutions
