Sr. Producer

Position Description:

RealGames is the global leader in casual games. As a developer, publisher and distributor of the world’s most popular word- and puzzle games, the RealGames network reaches over 40 million people globally each month. RealArcade, Zylom, Atrativa,Trymedia, Mr.Goodliving and GameHouse are all part of the worldwide RealGames’ family of brands.The RealGames Content Team is looking for an experienced Senior Producer to manage the development of downloadable games. This person will be responsible for reviewing potential games for distribution, filling various production roles (including scheduling, testing, and marketing asset generation) for games in development by 2nd and 3rd party developers, wrangling final builds through the deployment process on our services, and team-based management of our large pool of 2nd and 3rd party developers. In addition, Senior Producers are expected to share their expertise with other Producers.The ideal candidate has a strong love for casual games as demonstrated by a depth and breadth of gaming knowledge, excellent communication skills, formidable project management abilities, and the ability to think creatively. Previous experience in casual games development or publishing is a plus.Essential Functions:• Manage published games from product conception through launch. (70%)• Identify resources and negotiate contracts with programmers, artists, sound designers, and testers to develop the games• Manage production schedules to ensure agreed upon milestones are delivered on time.• Develop post-launch strategy for creating retail, mobile phone, international, and Mac ports.• Review game designs and provide direction with respect to all aspects of production, including game play, UI, performance, difficulty level, platforms, and file sizes. (15%)• Reviewing potential games for commercial feasibility and distribution on RealGames. Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• A passion for casual games• Interact and communicate effectively across organizations including onsite staff, remote employees, contractors, and international developers• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills• Outstanding organizational and project management skills including scheduling, budgeting, and keeping projects on track• Superior attention to detail• Ability to work efficiently in both individual and team settings• Prior experience in producing PC games, preferably downloadable online games• Strong technical knowledge to evaluate feasibility of design documents and tradeoffs when considering implementation plansEducation, Certification, and/or Training:Minimum:4 year bachelor degree.Preferred:MBA or equivalent.Experience:Minimum:Requires four years of game production. Preferred:5+ years of the above experience. Experience in the downloadable / online casual game market is highly preferred.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:Normal office duties, some overtime required during launch periods.
