Overview/Background Of Position:

As a critical member of the product development team, you will be responsible lead and manage these innovations towards successful execution, better features and new products.

 

You will interface with software engineers, sales, marketing, business development and other departments as well as SEVEN’s carrier customers and partners to drive exceed end users’ and operator customers’ expectations. You will effectively address the needs of the business by specifying creative product solutions that form winning solutions while providing best leverage of engineering resources, cost and time to market.

 

Primary responsibilities:

·  Define product vision, business case and key product features

·  Drive MRDs, PRDs, product definition and priorities through entire product cycle, including development and QA

·  Identify and help develop relationships with partners

·  Analyze market trends, and thoroughly understand key customer needs, competitive landscape and SEVEN’s current performance

·  Evangelize product to customers and partners

·  Travel required 10-15% of the time

 

Required qualifications:

·  Proven success in taking new innovations from concept through strategy development, feature definition and launch

·  Recent experience in product lifecycle of winning product

·  Enthusiasm for perfecting experience for the mobile user

·  Experience in building business cases for in a global environment

·  5-10 years experience in consumer software product management

·  Highly analytical. Ability to think strategically and to develop comprehensive detailed specifications.

·  Highly effective at working in cross-functional groups and getting results in matrix organizations.

·  Ability to set direction in highly dynamic environment working with very large Global Fortune 1000 organizations

·  Excellent oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills are must to articulate the business vision and detailed functional requirements to engineering, as well as design requirements and implementation options to business

·  “Can do” attitude, team player, fun, energetic personality, works well under pressure

 

Desired Qualifications:

·  Strong technical background, ideally a computer science or engineering degree complemented with strong marketing background, an MBA is preferred.

·  Experience with wireless technologies
