Sr. Programmer

Job DescriptionA senior programmer/analyst designs, develops and supports systems related to compensation analysis and talent management for Information Products and Solutions. To fulfill this role, the senior programmer/analyst will: Provide software application development and support Interact with the user community on system and requirement issues Work with limited supervision while providing constant feedback on project status and deadlines Function as part of a highly interactive team Provide continual input on the performance of the software the unit maintains and suggest technological enhancements. Develop scalable software architectural solutions Coordinate development team technical activities BA/BS in computer science or related field is preferred Minimum three years experience Experience in C#, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, PL/SQL, Client-Side JavaScript, and HTML Experience with XML, Web Services Experience developing multi-tier Internet/Intranet applications Experience with Websphere and/or BEA Logic preferred Demonstrated analytic and design capabilities Working knowledge of database design Experience with Oracle a plus Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) a plus Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills Fast learner, quality consciousness and committed to deadlines
