Position Description:

• Translates user requirements and specifications into QA test plans and test cases.• Coordinates QA tests for mainframe and internet applications. • Performs post-implementation regression tests to ensure the integrity of the production environment. • Assists in the training of new QA associates. • Maintains various management statistical reports. • Performs Sarbanes-Oxley testing. • Participates in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity testing• Ability to learn current QA processes in place, Identify improvements, Implement recommendations, and enforce throughout organization. • Excellent writing skillsQualifications Manual Tester:• Extensive knowledge of online and batch mainframe processing. • Experience in QA environment utilizing Internet and Mainframe technologies. • Thorough knowledge of SDLC. • Working knowledge of CMM or ISO a plus. • Proxy system and/or brokerage processing experience preferred. • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, etc) required. • Strong organizational and analytical skills required. • Excellent oral and written communication skills required. • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Qualifications Automated Tester :• 5-7 years experience with Mercury Tool Set (Quick Test Professional and Quality Center) • Able to develop and implement strategies for test automation • Design, execute and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing using Mercury Quick Test Pro (QTP) • Incorporate various types of checkpoints when developing scripts for data validation and synchronization using QTP• Ability to perform scripting making use of VB Script (Descriptive Programming) – not simply a record/playback environment.• Second level support for the administration of Quality Center including creation of domains, projects, and users; user-defined field creation; workflow set up using VB Script code.• Mercury Certification is a plus – (CPC for QTP; QC)
