Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst   JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide quality assurance (QA), systems assurance and project management support to a government systems assurance program containing large scale I.T. applications and systems (projects). Ensure that all system lifecycle activities comply with the approved system development lifecycle methodology in use. Maintain a quality assurance program to ensure consistent technical quality of all system lifecycle deliverables, work products, and services performed internally and by the external projects. Conduct or coordinate technical reviews and audits to validate the quality of work being performed internally. Assist customer in refining their QA standards for all projects which they support. Manage non-compliance issues to facilitate resolution of issues related to process deviations and standards. Work with customer and projects to select appropriate risk assessment, tailoring plan, or work pattern. Facilitate system lifecycle milestone reviews with all stakeholders.  Act independently to determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments. Establish and recommend changes to policies or processes that affect the organization. Regularly interact with senior management levels on matters concerning several functional areas and/or customers. Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance. REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:  Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent) and 2+ years related experience. Advanced degree preferred. Must be proficient with MS Office applications to include knowledge of MS Word templates and styles. DESIRED SKILLS: PMP and/ or CQA certifications are desired.
