We seek highly motivated self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced environment and cope well with change. Sr. Software Eng-Web Services Job Responsibility: Develop Trend Micro's next generation Web Services for Software as a Service (SaaS) and Web 2.0 security applications. Create Web 2.0 features for admin console and web services for next generation Trend Micro SaaS services. Automate provisioning and operations for the services. Working with a small cross-functional team using Agile Development process; (built-in unit test required for all functions)Be part of the collaborative architecture and design team to innovate next generation Web 2.0 services.  Experience: The ideal candidate will have:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science  5+ years of relevant industry experience  Self-starter and self-directing  Experience in email messaging security and HTTP security  Significant production work in network programming in Java or C++  Experience in JavaScript and Ajax  Fluent in at least one of these scripting languages: Ruby on Rails, Python or Perl (Ruby on Rails a huge plus)  Proficient in web services development  Web 2.0 development experience a plus  Must practice safe coding and concern about vulnerability  Adapt to Agile Development environment  Comfortable with Linux, Windows, VMware and other OS Please apply at careers@trendmicro.com   with “SaaS” in the subject line.Trend Micro offers an excellent benefits package that includes: 401k Plan, Medical and Dental, Health Club Membership, Tuition Reimbursement, Training Programs, Paid Holidays, and Vacation.
