Sr Software Engineer

Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Duties & Responsibilities1. Participate in the project planning process.2. Provide guidance and complex subject matter training to lesser experienced team members.3. Design and develop formal specifications of products and participate in system development phases.4. Develop engineering level documentation and resource requirements.5. Lead or participate in requirements gathering.6. Design, develop, implement and troubleshoot application and system level software in a variety of programming languages.7. Provide written and oral communications to peers, customers and management staff as appropriate.8. Determine forms, procedures and other documentation needed for the installation and maintenance of application programs.9. Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and moderate to high complexity and is proficient with sound engineering principles.10. Investigate new technologies.Proficient in Software Development with C#, .Net, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 and above. Will be working with the latest Microsoft Toolsets for both client and server based applications. Understanding of Object Oriented design and development.
