Sr. Software Engineer - Java Middleware Server Side

McAfee offers in-depth protection-from the network core, to perimeter defense to complete desktop security.   The company was recently named Best Employer in CMP Media’s Software Development Reader’s Choice Awards along with being chosen the Best Software Company at the CompTIA Breakaway Conference.     DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: McAfee is currently recruiting to expand its’ Enterprise Engineering group.  As a Java Server side – Middleware software engineer, you’ll be:    Working with products teams to drive successful integrations with ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), McAfee’s best in class enterprise security management platform. Responsible for software design, documentation, coding, debugging, and integration of middle tier and user interface components. Assist in planning, scheduling, and assigning development projects. Analyze customer requirements, propose and design, product features, and create functional specifications. Identify areas of improvements and assist in refining standards and procedures. Performs any other related work as assigned.   EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5+ years of development experience using Java 3+ years of development experience on J2EE Web Applications. 2+ years of development experience using network protocols, including HTTP, SOAP. Delivery experience on an actual Web Application/J2EE project. Strong OO design skills Experience using JUnit or other automated testing framework   NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE: Experience using Tomcat, Ant or the Spring Framework (for object initialization). O/R Mapping experience; general database or using Hibernate.
