Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 Develop and extend the presentation and middle layer of the web portal. Work with design team and engineering leadership to design and implement new features. Ensure cross browser support for all functionality on the site Drive improvements to site interactive and visual site design Optimize markup and JavaScript to enhance page load times Server side development with SQL for couple of positionsParticipate in design reviews and be a creative, vital part of a dynamic web team.If you want to work in a “fun” environment that is innovative, this is the spot for you!Stock options will be part of the offer package.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Expert Java developer for large production Linux environmentsExperience with dynamic web languages such as Java, PHP, Python or other scripting languages required Helpful:  Lucene or other Java search technologiesDatabase SQL knowledge if you want to focus on backend work.Familiarity with web protocols and technology  Experience at one of the top 1,000 web sites (ecommerce or consumer application) would be a great background. Experience with consumer applications for real end users, not internal IT corporate users.  Video games would be fine, too.Candidates should have side projects that show their excitement about web technology.Entrepreneurial types of people are welcome here!Would wave requirement for a degree, if you are smart, creative, with solid programming skills.Excellent communication skills Excellent problem solving skillsInterest in working on advanced web technologies.
