Sr. Software Test Engineer

This key member of the QA team will be directly responsible for the definition, implementation, execution and tracking of component and systems integration tests for our high-performance parallel computing platform. The Sr. Software Test Engineer will leverage best software test methodologies in an informal setting and participate in all phases of the quality process; contribute to design sessions to ensure testability of individual components, interact with developers to define the actual tests and resolve problems, integrate component tests into existing framework and expand the framework to support system integration testing.

 

Responsibilities: Validate that requirements are clear, complete and measurableParticipate in Specification and Design reviews to ensure adherence with requirementsWork with developers to ensure that interfaces are well defined and documented Create and implement test plans for SDKs, individual components and system integration Implement unit tests and drivers for testing individual modules; integrate them into automatic test systems Automate system integration testing to allow reliable scripting of components and record-keeping of the systems tested Work with developers to isolate/clarify the problems and validate fixes


Requirements: Excellent communication skillsBS degree in Computer Science or equivalent7+ years system integration, component and API testing Experience with system integration Experience with Python, MATLAB, C++, C#, Java or similar languages Familiarity with scripting languages
