Sr. Solutions Consultant - Master Data Management

TIBCO is currently looking for a senior level solution consultant for our MDM team in our Palo Altooffice. The sales consultant is a key part of the sales team who works cooperatively with Account Executives to help clients understand the technical aspects and business value of TIBCO CIM. The sales consultant also configures the application for customer demonstrations and proof of concepts.

 

Job Requirements

a) Understand customer needs and identify areas in which TIBCO CIM will add value for the customer.

b) Customize demonstrations on a customer-by-customer basis to enable the customer to view the application in the light of their own business problem

  Custom screens using UI technologies like AJAX

  Custom reports

  Custom workflows

  Custom validation and transformation rules in XML

c) Address technical issues with xml configuration files for workflow and validations, analysis of log-files, debugging java code

 

d) Generate UI mockups, to enable the customer to view “potential solutions” to their issues.

e) Independently deploy the application on demonstration servers

f) Understand data model and use it to deliver innovative reports through reporting tools

g) Develop integration demonstrations and proof of concepts with back-end systems

h) Work closely with Product Management to feed requirements into the engineering function for re-fitting features developed for customers into the core product

i) Travel requirements will be 50-75%

 

Technical Skills

Expertise

· Strong understanding of Databases (Oracle, DB2). Familiarity with data models. Strong experience with SQL

· Workflow design and debugging

· XML/ XSLT maps

· Expertise with AJAX and Javascript

· Shell scripting

· HTML development, Familiarity with CSS

 

Familiarity

· Java programming, familiarity with Enterprise Java Beans

· Strong understanding of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) design

· Familiarity with the workings of a rule-engine

· Expertise with UNIX and Windows based server administration.

· Unix editing tools (VI, Emacs etc.)

· Unix and Windows administration (IP networking, Samba etc.)

· Excellent client-facing presentation skills

· Excellent written skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Have multilevel discussions in client hierarchy (business and technical)

· Articulate the architectural strengths of the solution with respect to competition

· Articulate a solution vision in light of the customer’s system environment
