Sr. Staff Developer

Key Responsibilities: ·         Provide solid business and technical expertise in design and development of core modules. ·         Work with customers to determine needs and translate those into innovative software products. ·         Ensure that modules / applications surpass quality expectations of our clients ·         Demonstrate  knowledge of the .NET Framework and CLR ·         Ability to deliver scalable n-tier web applications that exceed expectations of the users. ·         Demonstrate  knowledge of application development in an Oracle database environment ·         Ability to work in the .NET web framework ·         Ability to use automatic testing tools  ·         Ability to program in JavaScript is a plus ·         Ability to test applications coded by the development team - both technically and functionally ·         Ability to work in Sybase's PowerBuilder tool is a plus ·         Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. ·         Ability to work in a complex deadline oriented environment ·         Ability to multi-task with supervision. Work Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience with the full systems development lifecycle, covering requirements, design, development, testing and delivery of n-tier architecture - Active hands-on web development and architecture in C#.NET, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET - OO design and implementation - Experience in an Oracle environment or SQL Server environment, writing stored procedures, triggers, and complex SQL - Experience testing and ensuring quality of delivered applications - Hands-on experience in web / application server environment. - Experience in financial or payroll applications - Project management experience including product delivery responsibility - Mentoring and training of staff resources   Education / Background: Candidates for this position will have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in a technical or business-related discipline.  Masters,MBA, tax or payroll system experience is a plus.   About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
