Sr. Test Engineer

Cernium is seeking as Sr. Test Engineer that understands the big picture and has the motivation; initiative and innovation to craft a set of test cases that result in a successful shrink wrap end-product. 

 

Troubleshooting, debugging or issue resolution experience is required. Successful candidate will trouble-shooting and identification root cause of issues and work routinely through test cases. 

 

Position Minimum Requirements:

 7 years of experience in a software testing role.Experience with web application and backend testing in a Microsoft (SQL Server, IIS,  ActiveX, Javascript, .NET) environment Strong track record of Microsoft server side technologies (SQL Server, IIS, .NET,  web services and web page testing).  Scripting experience required (Perl, Python, Shell) Writing and executing test plansProgramming experience required to debug and troubleshoot application code written in VB, C++ and Java.

 

Preferred

 

·         Previous experience in software programming is a plus.

·         Previous experience in use of configuration management tools (Perforce, SourceSafe, etc)

·         Experience with CCTV and video equipment installation and troubleshooting is a plus

·         Test automation experience a plus.

·          Linux experience is a plus.
