To realize our vision of making our innovative and comprehensive solutions synonymous with talent leadership, we look to attract, hire, and retain the best talent in the industry.   As we progress through the year, Taleo continues to solidify our leadership position as the leading provider of enterprise level workforce solutions with forward thinking global organizations.  Our continued growth has resulted in an exciting opportunity within the Education Services department.  Delivering customer and partner training programs of Taleo University, the Senior Instructional or Training Consultant plays a key role in helping our customers build skills, adoption and loyalty to Taleo talent management solutions.  You will frequently leads the planning of learning services with customers, coaches other instructors, and helps drive curriculum related projects and customization engagements.  Other responsibilities include the following: Deliver live instructor led training sessions at Taleo facilities and onsite at customer locations across a variety of Taleo software applications and at the advanced and Certification levels of the curriculum. Deliver live virtual classroom sessions and web seminars, frequently creating new content/topics for these. Actively coache customer personnel and Taleo internal staff on Taleo solution best practices and techniques from a training and learning standpoint; sometimes supplements Consulting team efforts. Take full ownership of training project once assigned. Interact with customer contact before, during and after each training project as needed for logistics, knowledge transfer and follow-up. Frequently engage in customer requirements definition and training scoping conversations and presentations with Taleo University team members and sales personnel. Design, stage and test Taleo University and customer specific training zones and environments; lead piloting of new environments. Play a lead role in the review and testing of new and revised curriculum offerings, particularly around highly technical topics, ensuring feedback and suggestions to Curriculum Development.  Will play a critical role in roll out and on-going delivery of new Taleo reporting and analytics courses. Frequently contribute to new curriculum or program ideas, taking the lead role or project managing development and execution. Take a lead role in the development of special customer materials and on customization engagements, to support both fee-based and update projects. Function as a coach and mentor to other instructors. Serve as a key representative for Taleo University on cross functional project teams within Taleo. Lead and engage in special projects to support Education Services business processes and tools.

Qualifications:The Senior Training Consultant is well versed in a variety of corporate technical business applications, is a passionate and versatile instructor and communicator, and is skilled in the delivery of quality instructor led classroom and web virtual classroom sessions to small and large groups.  Other qualifications include the following:Minimum 5 years in the technology industry, working with hardware or software applications. 4 or more years solid experience in a functional training role with emphasis on technology and business process training development, design, and delivery. Experience delivering services or content related to Recruitment, Staffing, Human Capital/Talent Management, Human Resources or related discipline desirable, but not required. Proven track record in developing and executing original and innovative technical and related process training programs, workshops and demonstrations; experienced in development of training materials. Track record in the configuration, customization, and delivery of technical application services to corporate clients. Experience in project managing education engagement, curriculum development, or professional services projects. Seasoned presentation and stand-up training and group facilitation skills across a variety of instructional mediums and methods, demonstrating solid and versatile audience-engagement skills and techniques appropriate for all levels of business audiences; understands blended learning models. Experience training on a highly technical business reporting and analytics application, such as Business Objects Analytics and Reporting modules, is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal English skills for the purpose of documentation development, curriculum review, and communication internally and with customers. Complete fluency in English required.  Other language skills welcome, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experienced in databases. Deep technical skills across a variety of technical applications and platforms, including managing and setting up technical training systems and environments, work with databases or network platforms, or work with analytics, reporting, or integration tools. Experience training and consulting on a technical application. Familiarity with human capital management technologies (any Talent Management, Applicant Tracking System, Peoplesoft, SAP, etc.) is a plus. Basic understanding of web-delivered application (ASP) models and usability concepts on internet applications Experience developing and hosting a remote training session or web seminar using a synchronous training tool like Webex, Centra, Interwise, or Microsoft Live Meeting. Flexibility to travel 30-75% per month. Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
