We seek highly motivated self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced environment and cope well with change. Sr. UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR Being Senior UNIX System Administrator for CTS (Core Tech Solutions), the following are the job tasks to be performed:To manage Apache, Postfix MTA, PostgreSQL and MySQL servers running on FreeBSD and Linux Operating Systems in a geographically distributed infrastructure. To take shifts for 24x7 operations for service-affected problem resolving and trouble-shooting of CTS global customer facing services.To work closely with Corporate IT Data Center Operation, CTS technical support team, and CTS development team to perform the following service level assurance activities as senior UNIX systems engineer resource: CTS service life cycle management- SLA definition, systems infrastructure design, Capacity planning, SOP creation and enforcement.CTS service p0 incidence response: participate with other members from Corporate IT Data Center Operation, CTS technical support team and CTS development team to response and mitigate any service degraded problems and issues troubleshooting by taking p0 escalation from Level 2 engineers and call centers. Under the leadership and senior Architects, to participate in service architecture enhancement review committee to contribute knowledge and expertise for CTS services. Technical Qualifications: 7-8 Years of experience in designing and maintaining a Kerberos realm and ssh public key authentication7-8 Years of experience in compiling, configuring and troubleshooting postfix or commercial MTAs for customer facing mail and anti-spam infrastructure 7-8 Years of experience in best UNIX security practices, such as ipfw/iptables implementation and kernel security level configuration7-8 Years of experience implementing, configuring and maintaining BIND 7-8 Years of experience in implementing and maintaining apache web servers7-8 Years of experience in configuring and maintaining postgresql and MySQL servers on LINUX and FBSD Platform7-8 Years of experience in slonyi, pgdump and database journaling7-8 Years of experience in DB active-active, active-standby configuration on the pqsql platform7-8 Years of experience in Hardware storage arrays, SAN, fibre-channel design7-8 Years of experience in pgsql and MySql security and Db optimization practices7-8 years of experience in Shell scripting skills, Bourne Shell, Sed, Awk, and Perl for administration automation. 7-8 years of experience in version control tools-RCS, and CVS.  Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and IPV4 are required.Excellent written capability for documentation and vocal communication skills are needed.BS or MS in Computer Science preferred  Please apply at careers@trendmicro.com   with “Unix” in the subject line.Trend Micro offers an excellent benefits package that includes: 401k Plan, Medical and Dental, Health Club Membership, Tuition Reimbursement, Training Programs, Paid Holidays, and Vacation.
