Sr User Interface Developer
A senior level software developer with 5 or more years of experience creating User Interface (UI) software for Microsoft Windows operating systems. We seek a developer with extensive experience developing rich client applications using Windows Presentation Foundation or Windows Forms and the C# programming language on the .NET platform. This position is a 6 month contract with the possibility of full-time employment at the end of the contract.
Responsibilities:
? Develop the architecture for the user interface of a medical device application.
? Using a proprietary, algorithm and hardware control library implement the User Interface of a medical device application per detailed wire frames, use cases, and requirements.
? Create and execute unit tests.
? Participate in design and code reviews.
? Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
? At least a BS in a technical discipline is preferred, although all candidates with the prerequisite skills will be considered.
? At least 5 total years developing software applications on the Microsoft Windows platform.
? At least 3 years of recent experience with .NET Windows Forms.
? At least 2 years of experience with SQL Server 2000 or 2005.
? At least 4 years of experience with C#.
? At least 4 years of experience with Visual Studio .NET (with some experience on VS 2005).
? At least 1 year of experience developing clients for XML Web Services using .NET.
? Some knowledge or experience with Windows Presentation Foundation.
? Some knowledge of multi-threaded, user interface programming.
? Some knowledge of web UI development using ASP.NET.
Desired (but not required) skills:
? At least 1 year of experience with a major, third-party GUI controls suite such as Infragistics or Teleric.
? At least 1 year of experience with Visual C++ and MFC.
? Experience with Visual Studio Team System
? Experience with UML/use cases
