Sr. Web Programmer Analyst

 

Informatica is looking for a Senior Web Programmer Analyst to join our highly motivated team of professionals in delivering web solutions which draw on the latest technology to provide innovative, simplified, cost-saving solutions for the business.  In this role, you will be responsible for working as a senior member of the technical team to design, develop and implement web solutions for customers and partners.  You will develop deep technical knowledge in a broad range of web technologies and build your leadership and planning skills, growing into a technical lead position.

 

As a member of the IT Web Applications team, duties and responsibilities of the Sr. Web Programmer Analyst include:

•  Working with multiple teams in providing web programming expertise

•  Provide application support for web application tools and solutions, including the corporate website, customer portal, and employee portal applications

•  Actively participating in full lifecycle projects involving web technologies

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

•  Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in web application development

•  Demonstrated deep technical knowledge with a minimum of 5 years experience working with:

•  HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript

•  XML, XSL

•  Extensive knowledge of web technologies and architectures

•  Strong understanding of object oriented development concepts, software design, software quality and performance

•  Experience developing technical specifications and deliverables

•  Experience with a structured application development methodology

•  Demonstrated experience working with either Java or ASP/.NET programming:

•  JSR 168 portlet development, Java, JSP, Java servlets, Apache Tomcat
- or -

•  Active Server Pages/.NET and related technologies and protocols, VB.Net or C#, Visual Studio 2003 and 2005, Sharepoint webparts on .NET framework

•  Demonstrated experience with portal technologies, preferably one of the following:

•  MicrosoftSharepoint 2003 and/or MOSS (MicrosoftOffice Sharepoint Server)

•  IBM WebSpherePortal v5 or v6

•  Extensive relational database experience and design using

•  MS SQL 2000 or 2005

•  IBM DB2

•  Oracle

•  Stored Procedures

•  Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with team members, management, vendors, and internal customers

•  Demonstrated strong prototyping, coding and debugging skills

•  Four-year degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or systems engineering

•  Experience working in an international environment, including coordinating off-shore technical resources
