Sr. Web UI Developer (C# / ASP.NET)

The position of Sr. Web UI Developer is to provide architectural design and frameworks/tools in real-time web applications for Windows-based web solutions.  We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of Windows-based web application and UI technology, as well as graphic design, to define a common UI framework / look-feel for web applications, as well as evaluate/deploy new web technologies across multiple business units.  The candidate will also serve as a graphic designer, assisting web developers with image, stylesheet, and other UI needs.  Be able to contribute in UI and application design discussions across multiple teams.  The position will require the ability to communicate and resolve problems across multiple departments.

As a technology leader with the company, the ideal candidate will design and implement a common web applicator UI framework and look/feel for the firm's varied web-applications, promote collaborative cross-functional team work among the development teams, and exhibit a forward thinking, results-oriented attitude towards problem solving.

Primary Responsibilities:
Design a Windows-based reference web application UI and look/feel
Design and develop graphic assets for the reference UI design
Design and develop graphic assets for various web application teams
Build/extend web frameworks for use within the firm
Evaluate new web tools for use within the firm
Interacting with people at a variety of technical and management levels
Communicate issues and seek support and resolution from software vendors
Produce and maintain accurate documentation, FAQs, and example
applications.
Participate on project teams as needed.
Work independently to resolve issues and escalate to management and
other teams as needed.

Primary Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years relevant web UI development experience, including graphic design and development, on a Microsoft IIS platform.
Experience and knowledge of Visual Studio, C# / ASP.NET, Web Services, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, AJAX
Experience and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AE, Flash/Flex
Strong eye for web UI design, with an ability to produce working prototypes and production-ready interfaces
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with an ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of  Windows web application architecture, SDLC and web application deployment, programming practices, experience with C#, ASP.NET
Strong communication skills and willingness to train other colleagues as
backup.
Demonstrates an ability to handle multiple projects, self-reliant, self-motivated and possesses a "can do" attitude
