IntraISP is in need of an Staff Accounting professional with the knowledge and experience to assist support the rapid growth of a software and professional services company. The ideal candidate will possess four to six plus years of corporate accounting and/or public accounting experience. This professional should have knowledge of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processing and general Staff Accounting duties. Responsibilities:• Prepare month end journal entries related to revenue and accounts receivable• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts as assigned• Perform monthly analysis as requested to provide insight into anomalies and trends related to the revenue and accounts receivable function • Assist in General ledger reconciliations, fixed asset management, and Accounts Payable processing.• Accounts receivable/billing• Personal Property tax returns and 1099’s• Assist in documentation and preparation of internal controls, processes and procedures related to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements• Preparation of Audit schedules; Audit process.• Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred• 2-3 years Accounting experience with Revenue Accounting strongly preferred• Strong financial and general ledger accounting knowledge• Strong analytical skills• Strong system skills (strong with Excel), Word, Outlook, Quick Books Enterprise required.• Deadline oriented with strong attention to detail• Quick learner and self starter who has the ability to work both independently and within a team environment and is accustomed to working with tight deadlines• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required• Experience in the following environments desirable: technology, startup, fast-paced enterprises• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
