Intermountain is recognized as a leading healthcare system and a model for what is right in American medicine.Position Description Provide senior level web administration for Intermountain Healthcare’s web-based applications and web sites in a team environment.  Design, maintain, and provide technical support for web servers, application servers, and web infrastructure components; including Intermountain’s Internet web presence, portal architecture, and application framework.  Responsible for monitoring system health and providing solutions based on analytical skills and industry background.  Must have a track record of delivering projects on schedule.ResponsiblitiesPrepare and deliver long-term strategic plans for web development and presence, including standards and guidelines for technical design, based on business goals and input from stakeholders. Create and maintain a consistent web site architectural structure across the organization’s web applications. Communicate and coordinate architecture and strategy with eBusiness and application development groups throughout the enterprise. Select and implement applicable hardware, software, platforms, publishing tools, and programming languages for the development of web architecture. Collaborate with web developers in the development and integration of graphical and multimedia components into web sites and other web applications. Work with database administrators to coordinate databases creation and modifications as they pertain to web applications. Conduct research into current and emerging web technologies and issues in support of web development and infrastructure efforts. Evaluate new standards, technologies and trends in web architecture, development, design, and delivery.QualificationsBachelor of Science in a computer related (or equivalent) field, or minimum of 4 years equivalent training and experience. Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements in order to meet strategic goals and development efforts. Excellent knowledge of web platforms, technologies, and protocols, including tcp/ip, http, dns, web application servers, operating systems, encryption, n-tier development/deployment, security mechanisms, directories, etc. Working knowledge of web servers and application servers. Available to work on call shifts in a 24 x 7 support environment. Excellent written, oral, communication, and interpersonal skills.  Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Highly self motivated and directed. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Very strong customer service orientation. Values-based personality with experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Preferred SkillsWeb server background including Apache, Microsoft IIS.Applications server background including BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, ColdFusion, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Vignette Application Portal, and Vignette Content Management.System administration skills on various operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, Linux and other UNIX installations.Understanding of database architectures including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.Understanding of web presentation technologies including Tcl, Expect, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, Java, JSP, CGI, and Perl.Understanding of networking infrastructure components including servers, switches, firewalls, and routers.Understanding of directory technologies including LDAP, Active Directory, and IBM Directory Server.Understanding of DNS technologies including BIND and Microsoft DNS services.Application knowledge in a healthcare setting including Trizetto HealthWeb
