Stellent Software Developer (or Oracle UCM)

Modis IT is seeking a qualified Stellent Software Developer (Oracle UCM) for a direct hire/permanent position in  Stellent Senior Software Developer Job Summary: The Stellent Senior Software Developer is responsible designing, developing and implementing content management solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: The Stellent Senior Software Developer designs and develops new code and customized solutions. In addition this position will be responsible for designing and implementing the underlying web pages and word documents to support the content management solution. Knowledge and Experience: **Qualified candidates require 1 to 2 years of WCMS experience, Knowledge of multiple technology platforms, protocols and web development languages such as: IDocScript, Java/JSP, PHP, Cold Fusion, J2EE, .NET, EJB, SOAP, CORBA,COM / DCOM, XML, JavaScript, VBScript, PL/SQL. **Knowledge of multiple web development technologies such as: DHTML, HTML, CSS, Experience with Dreamweaver, MS Visio, and MS Word template creation **Stellent experience highly beneficial. Other Skills: • Ensures all code is written efficiently and is thoroughly tested before releasing it to the next environment in the software development lifecycle. o Responsible for creating wireframes, screen layouts, and templates. o Responsible for taking user interface design requirements and wireframes and translating them into web pages, fragments, and Word templates. o Documents Website content structure, page templates, and user interface layout. o Responsible for usability analysis, testing and execution. • Experience with all areas of the software development lifecycle – design, development, unit/integration/acceptance testing, deployment, configuration management, production support, etc. o Conducts and participates in system testing, load testing, integration and user testing. o Assists in the development of user and technical documentation. o Experience with iterative software solutions, deployment, and support. o Documents and assists with application deployment activities. o Assists with the maintenance of the development, test and production environments. • Communicates with project manager, technical leads and business analysts about issues within the project and the solution being developed. o Participates in technical reviews and informal technical discussions. o Provides input on estimates for resources, timelines, and overall level of effort for development activities. • Assists the project manager / technical lead in addressing technical issues and communicates findings with business units, SMEs, vendors, and management seeking resolution based on best practices and solid technical decisions. o Assists the technical lead/architect to identify design solutions and development roadmap. o Participates in formal user interface discussions, wireframe review sessions, and technical discussions.
