Stock Plan Administrator

This role provides a unique opportunity for an individual to work with other departments on shared goals and deliverables such as payroll, human resources, accounting and legal as it relates to equity administration. The stock plan administrator will participate in all day to day activities, including processing of trade activity, equity vestings, equity grants, communication to participants, and managing outsourced system provider.  Maintain participant data (e.g. new hires, terminations, etc.) and ensure all participant stock plan transactions are correctly processed and settled in a timely manner. Coordinate with outsourced provider to administer the Stock Option database. Work closely with Finance to reconcile equity accounts and account for stock based compensation expense in accordance with SFAS 123 (R). Work closely with Payroll to ensure tax accounting and compliance. Answer employee questions. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of stock administration experience from a mid-size to large company background with demonstrated knowledge of equity administration and applicable rules and regulations. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other business discipline, or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability work with departments and employees with varying levels of knowledge.  Proven ability to manage time lines and deliverables. Strong attention to detail. Experience with equity management software - whether in-house or through an outsourced provider.
