Due to major growth, we are currently recruiting for an energetic and ambitious Sr. Symbian Programmer that has an interest in architecture, design, and development. If you consider yourself to be a top candidate in the field of software development for mobile devices and systems architecture and have a track record of bringing great ideas from concept to completion, we would like to hear from you.Responsibilities: As the chief Symbian guru, you will be responsible for all of the hairy Symbian/Nokia code we have to deal with. That includes in-depth knowledge of Symbian APIs. You should not only understand how to write cool consumer facing applications for those handsets, but more importantly, you also know how to dive deep into the system and write system services and deal with various networking and security protocols. The ideal candidate will be heavily involved on Symbian and Nokia Developer forums. You should possess a love for innovation and making first class applications for Nokia and other Symbian based handsets.Must Have Skills: 1.) 2+ years hands on experience developing software (from scratch) for mobile devices using Symbian/Nokia code is REQUIRED. You must have deep skills in this area.2.) Must have strong programming skills in C (crucial) and C++ (not as crucial). 3.) 5+ years experience of advanced Embedded/Systems Software development & design. 4.) Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Master's degree is a plus.Nice to Have Skills: 1.) Good knowledge of networking, including Layers 2 and 3 protocols; TCP/IP; 802.11 is helpful2.) Knowledge of network security, SSL/TLS and PKI preferred. 3.) Experience developing multimedia technologies for mobile consumer devices4.)
