System Design Engineer

NCR is core focused on Multi Industry Self Service solutions. Job Description: NCR Entertainment Group in Schaumburg, IL is seeking an engineer to perform basic product design for NCR Xpress DVD and Merchandising Kiosk solutions for the entertainment industry. In this position, you will: • Develop and Model new modular design concepts and features in 3D. • Maintain Existing Drawing Set and Bill of Materials for product line. • Integrate Drawing set and Bill of Materials to Database. • Design and Prototype Testing Fixtures and Stations. • Develop and Maintain electrical schematic and system wire way documentation. • Design for Serviceability, manufacturability and cost reduction. • Interface to contract manufacturing as necessary. • Outdoor Engineering to NEMA Standards for product line. • Nominal travel requirements Basis Qualifications: • BS degree in Engineering • Solid works or other 3D Modeling experience • Minimum of 5 years in an engineering role • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Travel of up to 5% Desired Skills and Experience: • Project Management skills • Design Engineering experience • Database interface experience • Knowledge or materials and fabrication process
