System Engineer

SYSTEM ENGINEER

 

Our world-class System Engineers directly interface with customer’s technical counterparts to aid them in understanding Ulticom’s products and how best Ulticom can help them meet their business requirements.

 

Generation and maintenance of Product Requirements Documents and Engineering Requirements Documents.

Participate in new product evaluation and investigation and incorporation of new features and capabilities into existing products.

Review of design documents and test plans.

Assist Development Engineers and Test Engineers by providing technical guidance, addressing technical questions and ensuring all product issues get resolved

Participate as an active member of an Agile Team, working closely with team members from other departments

Directly supervise other engineers in their assignments as necessary

 

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences or related field

8-15 Years of System Design or Development experience

Ability to work in a team environment

Good oral and written communication skills in the English language

Ability to complete multiple assignments with a minimal amount of supervision.

Detailed knowledge of the following areas:

 

o SS7 Protocols

o SIGTRAN protocols

o Telecommunications or IP networks

o Wireless communications

o Agile Software Development Practices

o Network Architecture

o Operating Systems
