System Solution Engineer/Pre Sales Consultant

The Company is currently looking for an experienced Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer (SE) plays a key role at Proginet and is responsible for working closely with Proginet’s sales teams to help ensure the successful execution of all sales pipeline activity. This includes technical pre-sales support, installation and configuration of Proginet products, training, migration support, and consulting services support for all solutions sold by Proginet.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support for the sales representatives by providing technical knowledge to clients and potential clients.

2. Identifies clients technical environment and business requirements to address the needs new or existing customers.

3. Present 'proof of concept' engagement at prospect sites through product demonstration.

4. Testing, installation and implementation of software to satisfy specific customer requirements.

Skills:

1. Knowledge of security systems, including RACF, ACF, Top Secret Windows Active Directory and Unix Security.

2. Hands-on skill in installing and operating infrastructure software in a wide range of complex corporate networks.

3. Strong knowledge of three of the following: IBM AIX, Microsoft WIN32 operating systems, LINUX, Sun Solaris, HPUX, and IBM Mainframe.

Experience:

1. 4+ years of similar Experience

2. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline or science.
