System Support Analyst II/III

Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Develops or modifications to systems or procedures to solve complex problems. Analysis of computer equipment, limitations of software and operating time to form desired results. Design, development and implementation of reporting tools utilizing MS Access, Monarch and data translation tables. Design, development and implementation of systems and/or processes by analyzing and providing overall support to internal and external customers. Determining of system scope Development of system/report specifications Reviews progress with management.  Stays aware of externally available programs and faculty. Troubleshoot system problems. Carries out analytical assignments that are varied and possibly difficult. Develops problem resolution by analyzing processing problems, recommending automated solutions and working with other departments to test and implement solutions. Verifies results by developing and executing tests for moderate sized projects. 5+ years of professional experience in the function or similar activity outside the organization. Must be knowledgeable in MS Access, Excel, Word, Visio and Monarch is a plus Experience in insurance, mortgage, and banking and call center. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Skills — knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of development. Effective oral and written communication skills.  Ability to adapt easily as procedure/client needs change.
