Systems Administrator II:  The Systems Administrator II will actively take part in the day to day operations, performance and security of systems located in multiple world class production data center facilities.

 Position Responsibilities:

 Ability to analyze hardware/software problems and develop resolutionsAssists in managing systems integrity, availability and performanceResearches, plans and coordinates hardware/software upgrades and changesAssists in data recovery and data protection managementEnsures that all documentation is up to date and implements new documentationAbility to work closely with other technical team members and customersStrong communications skills and ability to self manageSupport Application Development and Application Support Teams

 Candidates must have the following qualifications:

 2 - 5  years experience in IT field (Financial Industry is a plus)2 + years experience working as a System Administrator in a complex environment (150+ mixed server environment)Experience with Windows or Linux Server operating systems (Both is a plus) LINUX IS A MUSTAdvanced understanding of networking fundamentalsPrior knowledge and/or experience in:Enterprise Data Protection software (CommVault is a plus)Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 or Oracle 9/10g is a plusExperience with Dell/IBM/EMC hardware is a plusExperience with Altiris is a plusDisplays a relentless focus on customer serviceHolds self accountable for high personal and professional standardsDemonstrated ability to organize and mange multiple priorities/task simultaneouslyExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work well in a team environmentKnowledge of the following:Windows Server 2000-2003Linux RHE 4 & 5SAN InfrastructureSystems ManagementSystems/HardwareIIS/ApacheEnterprise MonitoringActive Directory
