POSITION SUMMARY

A Technical Architect in the Professional Services Organization is responsible for performing research and prototyping to aide in guiding the technical direction for the organization.  The Technical Architect also is responsible for the technical design and execution of TRIRIGA Application delivery using the TRIRIGA platform.  The Technical Architect may be required to manage the day-to-day activities of Application Builders for specific projects.  In this role, the Technical Architect Interacts with Project Management and Business Analysts to ensure accurate and comprehensive understanding of use cases, data and reporting requirements.  Produces technical specifications based on these requirements. 

 

REQUIREMENTSIn depth knowledge of enterprise business applications required Excellent technical, verbal and written communications skills are necessary  Strong leadership skills with ability to drive project initiativesMust be detail oriented Must be technical and have strong understanding of all phases of software development life cycle At least 10 years application design and development on ERP, CRM, or IWMS products Experience with team management for mission critical application environment  Experience with Internet strategies and technology5 or more years experience in programming languages including Java, VB, HTML, JSP, SQL, and XML  Must have strong object-oriented design and relational database skills  Working knowledge of Integrated Workplace Management Systems preferredExperience in configuring J2EE Application Servers (JBOSS, Weblogic, Websphere) and Web Servers (Apache, IIS) are also desiredOver 10 years experience in Enterprise Application installation, configuration, performance tuning and problem solvingDemonstrated advancement of skills and job responsibility Experience in Professional Services Organization is preferredTravel Requirements:  40-70%

EDUCATION

Masters Degree or BS Degree in Computer Science with 3-5 years in an application development role, or equivalent work experience
