About the Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue growth for point of sale in the hospitality industry utilizing selling techniques.

 

 

 

Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and assist the sales representatives Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas Assist in the development plan for new sales representatives Collect and document activity reporting; sales activity; quota performance and forecasting Recruit and train sales representatives Participate in customer meetings and negotiate large opportunities Develop in­-depth knowledge of all the products that we represent Develop lasting relationships with customers in order to maximize revenues for the company while being customer focused Make outbound calls to potential customers Prepare and deliver presentations and detailed proposals that include hardware, software and services to potential customers Interface with Implementation team in assuring customer satisfaction Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition. Other Job related duties as assigned

 QualificationsMinimum 2 years experience in Sales and/or Marketing positions with emphasis on prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business Hospitality and Point of Sale experience highly desirable Be proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to understand client needs and demonstrate the impact & value/ROI of products and services. Comprehensive knowledge of how products and services can positively impact organization’s operations Ability to communicate and provide excellent product demonstrations. Ability to learn technical aspects of the products. Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead salespeople Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong negotiation skills Restaurant operations or restaurant management experience preferred Highly motivated and driven to succeed Must be self motivated, with ability to proactively identify business opportunities and cold call.
