Job Description: In this exciting role, you will assist the VP-Tax in our global tax department with the following:

· Timely preparation of the quarterly/annual global tax provision

· Timely completion of Federal and State income tax returns

· Timely completion of other global income tax and statutory requirements

· Participation in the annual audit with outside auditing firm

· Management of the tax month-end close processes

· Management of associates in the tax department

· Review and improvement of the automation of tax compliance and provision software

· Review of all tax department procedures for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley standards

· Implementation of departmental process improvement initiatives

· Coordination of tax and local statutory audits with foreign controllers

· Documentation of tax provision positions of the company

· Maintaining inter-company agreements, loan documents and board directives

· Maintaining E&P and tax pools for all JDA entities

· Implementation of any tax planning strategies

· Oversight of sales tax operations

· Coordination of accounting matters with other departments

· Servicing internal and external customers for all tax related issues

 

Knowledge/Skills Required:

· CPA and advanced degree in business taxation or experience equivalent

· International tax experience and/or courses

· 8+ Years of corporate income tax experience

· Hands on experience with

o  Global income tax provision

o  Federal and state corporate income tax compliance

o  Trial balances, general ledgers, and financial reporting applications

o  On-line global tax research tools
