Technical Business Analyst

One of our Clients located in the Detroit Metro Area is currently looking for a Technical Business Analyst for a Contract to Hire opportunity.

Technical Business Analysts are a key element in identifying all critical business processes and in achieving customer satisfaction. They need to possess skills in current and future state process analysis and design, including, but not limited to, scope definition, risk assessment, process analysis, business requirements gathering, process modeling, cost/benefit analysis, and gap analysis. The Technical Business Analyst should have experience in the full systems development cycle, conceptual GUI design, and software testing. They must be highly motivated, able to multi-task, understand the multiple aspects of developing a business solution, and have a strong understanding of the customer's strategic vision and business processes. Most importantly the Technical Business Analyst must possess superior communication and interpersonal skills. They must communicate effectively with project managers, technical team leaders, subject matter experts, project stakeholders and executive management.

Requirements:Team leadership experience Project management skills Strong knowledge of business analysis and testing deliverables Experience in all phases of the systems development life cycle Experience working with external customers (not internal projects only) Experience with large enterprise data migration/data warehousing projects Database/SQL experience (Oracle preferred) Ability to write basic SQL queries Extraordinary communication skills BS degree in applicable field (e.g., Business, Engineering, etc.), MBA or MS preferred 5+ years of business analysis related experience or commensurate, demonstrated expertise 2+ years of facilitation and presentation experience or commensurate, demonstrated expertise 2+ years of business writing experience or commensurate, demonstrated expertise
