Technical Consultant - Mid Atlantic Region

An immediate opportunity exists for a highly successful Technical Consultant who will be responsible for providing presales support to eCopy channel partners and end users.
Principal Responsibilities:
The Technical Consultant works closely with the Regional Sales Manager or Director in the assigned territory. The Technical Consultant is accountable for the technical aspects of the sales cycle by providing pre and post-sales support as necessary.
The individual in this critical, high-visibility role provides onsite software installation and configuration of third party applications in conjunction with eCopy software products.
In addition, the Technical Consultant develops documentation to support the configuration requirements of different applications, participates in technical discussions and presentations, and provides training for both sales and technical staff of channel partners and end-users.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
5 to 8 years experience providing pre and post-sales technical support along with customer training.
Extensive enterprise application software implementation experience.
OS level experience with Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Active Directory, NT domains and Novell network infrastructure.
Experience with document management, content management, and/or fax management systems preferred.
Must have excellent presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field plus
Ability to travel 60% required.
