Position Summary:

The Technical Consultant is an integral member of the implementation team responsible for delivering the Initiate software to Fortune 500, government, and large healthcare customers. The Technical Consultant is focused on developing technical and business requirements and performing software installation and configuration activities.

 

Essential Responsibilities:Implement Initiate software for Fortune 500, government, and large healthcare clientsDevelop and document technical, architectural, and business requirementsInstall softwareAnalyze customer data and develop appropriate software configurations to meet customer data and business requirementsSolve technical and configuration issues



Travel Responsibilities:

Requires travel up to 50%

 

Skills and Experience Requirements:2-3 years of experience in an enterprise or departmental software environment installing and supporting packaged software applicationsPrevious enterprise software implementation experience (e.g., Oracle Applications, SAP, PeopleSoft, Siebel, etc.)Strong knowledge of relational database and enterprise software integration conceptsHands on knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one of the following: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, InformixPrefer previous experience with scripting languages such as PERL and a working knowledge of Java/J2EE or C++ (this position may require some programming, but it will not be your primary focus)Prefer previous experience with and a working knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems: Unix, Linux, Solaris, AIXStrong business and technical analysis background; ability to learn new domains quicklyExcellent verbal and written communicators; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple termsMust enjoy teaching and training othersAbility to work independently and multitask



Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
