Technical Data Project Manager

Claritas has an exciting job opportunity for an experienced Technical Project Manager in our Arlington, VA office. This position entails ensuring the success of the development of data publications.  The ideal candidate is able to work cross-functionally with a high level of independence.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Consistently demonstrate a mastery-level knowledge of project management, exercising PMI, CMMI, ISO, or other formalized methods

· Develop and manage complex project plans and ensure on-time deliveryDemonstrate mastery as a marketing data analyst by managing process management, design, control, and change

· Manage data development efforts

· Contribute and review analysis phase outcomes including business case, approvals, financial, and other objectives

· Assign activities, negotiate delivery expectations, and provide feedback on results

· Compile and report status of delegated activities to management

· Represent Strategic Resources software projects, addressing their data dependencies

 

REQUIREMENTS

· Strong data center migration experience.5+ yrs as a technical project manager, a technical program manager2+ years experience in Oracle and UNIX

· Bachelors degree

· Superior oral and written communication skills

· Balance team and individual efforts

· Exhibit sound and accurate judgments in a timely fashion

· Prioritize and plan work activities

· Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

· Professional certification(s) as a project manager; e.g. PMP, PgMP, CAPM, OPM3, CMMI preferred
