The Technical Lead organizes and manages the work of the ATG project development team. The Technical Lead ensures the quality of technical specifications, code development, and other key deliverables.Acts as the liaison with other main technical constituents in the project, such as QA, Documentation, and third-party developers. Typical Technical Lead responsibilities for a large project include: Delivers technical schedule - provides the initial technical project plan including the work break down structure of tasks, estimates the effort for tasks and help to assign the appropriate resources for those tasks, documents dependencies and assumptions associated with project tasks. Maintains technical schedule - tracks project progress against the schedule and manages and reports against that schedule to ensure on-time delivery. Provides status reports - writes regular, technical status updates for the project and communicates status to the TAM or Project Manager and other project stakeholders. Manages change control - monitors project scope and works with project manager to effectively manage change control throughout a project. Ensures resolution to technical issues - is aware of all technical issues and helps drive these issues to resolution. Acts as the technical liaison - communicates any technical issues to the client and sets the technical expectations appropriately. Performs code reviews throughout the implementation phase and ensures the use of standard coding practices ATG best practices.
