Technical Product Manager

Who We Are:
SNAPin Software, a company that develops software for mobile phones, is looking for a technical product manager in applications to design, document and plan product offerings.
SNAPin is located in downtown Bellevue within walking distance of great shopping, lots of restaurants and lively bars. Our office is right across the street from the Bellevue transit center and a stones throw from about 25 coffee places. Inside the office, we provide plenty of snacks and drinks, a friendly and casual working environment, and a comfortable employee lounge with a flat panel TV and video games for kicking back as needed! Guitar Hero play is optional, but highly recommended! SNAPin is a company full of people who are passionate about the products we’re creating.
The ideal candidate will have a background in product and program management in a web or mobile device environment, have experience creating training materials content, have superior communication skills and be able to work effectively with people across the entire organization.
Position Responsibilities
– Be responsible for organizing, and prioritizing new feature requests into a product roadmap
– Maintain the product roadmap and create documentation for updated versions
– Create functional requirements for applications and associated tools
– Create internal training material for delivery and sales
– Provide training and assistance to delivery and sales teams
– Create any needed customer-facing documentation and help content for tools
– Create business cases for new feature requests, using analysis of past data, customer input, and market conditions
– Work with marketing to assist in creating accurate and compelling collateral
– Hire and train team members as needed to assist with responsibilities
– Manage usability studies and other relevant studies as needed, apply result of studies to product planning
– Coordinate applications product planning with other areas in engineering
Position Requirements:
– 5+ years experience in product, program and/or project management in a software environment
– Excellent analytical skills, with experience mining large sets of data for relevant information
– Superior verbal and written communication skills.
– Experience presenting material to technical and business oriented team members
– Strong project management skills, detail-oriented, a team player, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
– Proficient in MS Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
– Ability to stay calm under pressure
– Passionate about technology and capable of delivering technical information to non technical people
