Tridaq, Inc., a SolidWorks Reseller in the Midwest has an immediate need for Technical Sales Professionals in their Kansas City office.  Details are as follows:

 

JOB TITLE:  Technical Sales Professional

 

LOCATION: Kansas City, MO

Tridaq has four locations to serve Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, South Dakota, and Western Illinois. Our mission is to provide trusted engineering technology solutions with bottom-line results.
We provide engineering technology solutions for the manufacturing industry. We combine the standard in 3D design, SolidWorks, with SolidWorks certified training, technical support, and implementation services to make certain that our clients can design higher quality products in less time to maintain their edge in the highly competitive manufacturing industry.

 

DESCRIPTION:  As a technical sales representative you will consistently demonstrate the ability to create an environment whereby you operate as a true business person, dealing with clients at a business-to-business level, providing solutions that fulfill the clients’ business needs.  Sourcing of the solution’s “components” may come from multiple suppliers. 

 

·  Bring leading edge technology to industry in a rapidly evolving, hot product market

 

·  Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual unit and revenue goals

 

·  Manage the sales activities of the assigned territory and provide detailed, accurate monthly forecasts

 

·  Coordinate the activities of Applications Engineers to ensure that clients are receiving the appropriate level of technical training and sales support.

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 or more years of sales experience.

 

EDUCATION:  BS or equivalent or proven history of success in a sales environment.

 

REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will have a Solution based approach to solving customer requirements.  Must be a problem solver with a get it done attitude and strong self motivational attributes.  Must be comfortable selling at the executive as well as the engineering levels.  Must have high standards for themselves, their product and their services 

 

·  Proven track record in sales

 

·  2 or more years of sales experience, with a successful record of sales performance

 

·  Excellent communication and presentation skills

 

·  Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is desired.

 

·  In addition, the candidate will also possess the ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, have superior organizational/time management skills and a make-it-happen attitude.

 

COMPENSATION: Base / commission, commensurate with experience.
