Salary: $45k-$55k OTE, depending on experience

Location: Boston, 10-15% travel

Job Summary

 

Technical Solutions Consultants assist with removing technical barriers to sale, managing complex customer implementations and providing technical guidance in the development of products and partner integrations for the North American market.

 

In order to establish a solid grounding in the product their first 3 months will be spent providing assistance to QAS’ customers in the installation and use of our suite of QuickAddress software solutions via telephone, e-mail, and our QuickSupport website.

 

Specific areas of responsibility include:On-site & telephone-based pre and post sales support to QAS sales representatives and customers Providing product and technology training to staff Coordinating with the UK product and development teams to ensure successful product evolution

 

Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate will be intelligent, well presented, articulate and confident.  They will have a positive outlook, at least two years experience in dealing with customers in a technical capacity in a fast paced environment, and the drive to succeed.  Candidates should be graduates in a technical field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

 

Other requirements include:Skilled at troubleshooting Windows OS, applications and networking issuesSome experience developing dynamic websites, such as JSP, ASP, .NET or PHP.Some experience with non-Windows operating systems such as Linux/UNIX.Familiarity with common development environments such as VB, Java and/or C.Excellent telephone and customer service skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in MS Office packages.Have a logical approach to problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills.A full and valid driver's license.Must be eligible to work in the United States.
