Job Summary:

This is a great entry-level opportunity to show off your software knowledge and your passion for customer support!  The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing world-class support to existing and prospective TechExcel customers. The Technical Support Engineer responds to customer inquiries via phone, email and web, diagnoses and analyzes problems, and provides solutions to customers. 

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Ÿ Provide telephone-based and electronic (email/web-based) technical support for TechExcel Products.

Ÿ Create and contribute to the development and maintenance of TechExcel’s internal knowledge sharing “Knowledge Base”.

Ÿ Write SQL scripts to resolve database related problems.

Ÿ Provide Pre/Post Sales support to TechExcel Sales Team and Customers.

Ÿ Represent TechExcel to customers in a positive and professional manner.

 

Qualifications:

Ÿ B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Ÿ Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.

Ÿ Excellent customer service skills (with at least 1 year support experience).

Ÿ Strong knowledge of relational database management theory and practice.

Ÿ Experience in Windows operating systems and managing web sites on Microsoft server platforms.

Ÿ Programming and SQL experience a plus.

Ÿ Quick learner and team player.
