Position Summary: Provides the first line of technical support to customers and partners for ENOVIA MatrixOne Products. Works closely with Senior Technical Support Engineers and software engineering and development to provide prioritized issues and defects for resolution. Builds and enhances relationships of trust with ENOVIA MatrixOne customers and partners. Must have experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or SQL Server). Must understand basic networking concepts and processes. Must have knowledge of Application Servers such as Weblogic, Websphere, and Tomcat. Familiarity with Java/JSP programming a plus. Position Responsibilities: · Acts as end-user support for ENOVIA MatrixOne Platform products (as stated in Functional Specifications) and related technologies.· Assists end-users with basic configuration-related application issues.· Documents solutions to known issues through comprehensive Incident Resolution details and TechTips/TechAlerts, when possible.· Supports customers through email and phone, as well as through our online support tools.· Constantly improve knowledge about ENOVIA MatrixOne products and related technologies (Annual Training Plan, participating in GOLD release process)· Performs various administrative duties related to the delivery and maintenance of our online products as well as administration of customer data. Scope/Level of Decision Making: Use of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Develops resolutions to problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures. Work is closely managed. Knowledge/Skills/Experience: REQUIRED - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of one year related customer-facing experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Good analytical, trouble shooting, interpersonal, negotiation, communication and technical writing skills. Good ralational database skills (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or SQL Server - certification preferred). Basic UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX) skills. Familiarity with Web/Application Servers (Apache or IIS; Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere) PREFERRED – Experience with structured or object oriented programming language, particularly Java/JSP. Solid working knowledge of ENOVIA MatrixOne products and related technologies.
