About the Position:

 

TheTechnical Support Engineer delivers comprehensive high quality technical support on Kronos Workforce Central software to Kronos' Enterprise customer base. 

As a member of the Rapid Response Team he or she is expected to provide first level support with a goal of resolving the issue a timely manner or escalating the case to the appropriate resolution team.  He or she is expected to utilize outstanding customer service skills and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems that promote customer satisfaction and retention. 

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 Utilize his/her technical ability to prioritize issues and respond appropriately to multiple critical situations. Research application questions by setting up scenarios and testing the application. Analyzing customer configurations and thinking "out of the box" to resolve and/or find a work around.Provide technical expertise to conduct specific performance or functional tests associated with resolving performance issues regarding Kronos applications. Developing and documenting best practices.  Author knowledgebase articles Develop a solid base of general product knowledge.

 

Required Skills:

 Minimum of 5 years experience working with client/server and/or Web Based technologies. Minimum 2 years of experience working with Oracle and SQL relational databases management systems.  Strong knowledge of SQL scripting. Minimum 1 years experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting package.  Excellent technical understanding of Operating Systems, networking technologies, software applications and communication protocols. Microsoft Certified System Engineering certificate a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills.
