Technical Systems Trainer

TietoEnator, a software company located in Redmond, Washington is seeking a skilled Technical Systems Trainer for a full time position to join a dynamic team that is providing solutions to the forest, pulp, and paper industries around the globe.

 

Working with all levels in the organization as well as external customers, you will train users on the use of complex systems, assist the project manager to clearly identify and define customer business processes, and assist in the installation of solutions around the world.  You will also identify software improvements to the development team and help solve our customers challenges.

 

Responsibilities: Train users from multiple cultures on the use of complex systemsBe and expert in the use and application of our solutions to solve our customers’ needsLiaise with software development and customer service around user feedbackParticipate in project status meetings, communicating progress on various tasks being performed during the course of a project

Competencies:Knowledge of pulp and/or paper industry businessExperience transferring knowledge of complex systemsStrong Communication skillsWillingness to learn new things and work with people from all cultures and parts of the worldWilling to learn and adapt to customers’ core business processesWilling to travel (including potential international trips)Excellent Time ManagementKeep project manager well informed of status of training effort Consistently deliver high-quality services to our clientsFacilitate team and customer meetings effectivelyResolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashionUnderstand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfullyBS, BA, or equivalent required2+ years of experience in training on complex systems
